Musical Director: Daniel Lockert

Daniel began his work as Musical Director of Christ Church in March of 2011. A native of San Diego California, He began his piano studies at the age of five.  After receiving his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a minor in Organ from Loma Linda University, he attended the University of Southern California.  USC awarded Daniel an advanced degree in the specialized art of accompanying.  As a coach and teacher, Daniel has been on the staffs and faculties of the Juilliard School, the San Francisco Opera, Opera San Jose, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Chapman University and the Aspen Music Festival.  He served on the theatre, voice and coaching staff of Cal State University, East Bay Campus.  Currently, he is Professsor of Collaborative Piano and Vocal Coach at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA.

 

 

 

Associate Music Director: Jenny Matteucci

Jenny participates with the Christ Church choir as both soloist and Associate Music Director.  A graduate of UC Davis, Jenny has also studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  An active member of the San Francisco Cabaret scene, Jenny has performed in Beach Blanket Babylon and also alongside her husband, Daniel Lockert in "For the Love of...".
